While it may be the smaller powered subwoofer model in the Reference Series, the SUB R10 still adds powerful bass to any music or movie entertainment system. The heart of this subwoofer is the 10" (250mm) fiber-composite driver mated to the 200 Watt (400W peak power) high-power digital amplifier. The solid 0.75" (19mm) construction of the tuned-port subwoofer cabinet with its internal edge-to-edge windowpane bracing provides a firm foundation to reinforce the type of tight, punchy and dynamic deep bass required for high-resolution digital surround and modern popular music. This combination of unyielding structure, high-output digital power and robust driver provides powerful, deep bass response that will make your music and movies come alive. The SUB R10’s slender design and elegant details provide a rich appearance that blends well with any décor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Musical Bass I bought this sub on sale from the Infinity online store. I live in an apartment and will be using it in my living room as part of a 2.1 stereo setup. Last night and this morning I've had the jazz group "Fourplay" on for many hours. That group has plenty of low bass playing in it. I'm very pleased with the sound! My bookshelf speakers do good down to 50 hertz, then the roll off starts. If I eq my speakers and boost the bass, I can somewhat hear the very lowest bass guitar notes being played. This sub replaces the budget Polk Audio PSW10 that I've used for the past year and a half. That sub does OK with music, but even with music, on some tracks that are very bass heavy, there is too much port noise. This sub solves that problem. It goes plenty low and accurate for music. This sub is a good match for my 180 sq foot living room. The "on" and "auto on" features work fine. The 35 hertz bass boost feature gives options to adjust the bass or not depending on room acoustics and lack of placement options. The sub is not too much bigger than my Polk sub. Some of the larger subs are the size of small refrigerators and weigh in at 60 to plus 100 lbs! This sub does not swallow my living room, yet delivers quality lower frequencies. I'm happy.

Does this Subwoofer support 220v?

Asked by: ALIL
The Sub R10 only supports 110V and you will need to have a Step Down transformer in order for it to work without any problems.
